Well, it is the name used to describe a group of mainly Malay guys who hang around the foot of the Electrical Engineering Block 5. We are mainly Malays and hang out at Blk 5, thus came the name Pang5, as in Panglima.

What is Panglima?

Panglima is a Malay name to describe a Malay warrior in ancient times. This warriors use the Malay art of self defence, 'silat', as a form of fighting and also self defence. But none of us knows silat, but because we hang out at Blk 5, we decided to call ourselves Pang5.

Who are Pang5?

We consist mainly of Electrical Engineering students and also some Civil and Chemical Process students, who hang out at a special place located at the foot of Block 5 in Singapore Polytechnic.

What we do there?

Well, we have our lunch there every skoolday, play UNO, sepak takraw, talk sh!t and also 'tiang' people!!! Hey, sometimes we do study!

How many of us?

Well, to this date, I'd say 20-30 people.
