We are now introduced to two new villians in Sunnydale. William the Bloody, a.k.a. SPIKE!!! and the "Deranged" Drucilla. They came for the night of St. Vigilious. They arrived in Sunnydale, and went to the Annointed One's lair. Spike introduced himself to everyone, and said that he can kill the Slayer. Just then, Drucilla walks in and scares everyone, and tells Spike that she must kill the Slayer. The next day at school Principal Snyder was lecturing the two most baddest students at Sunnydale High, Sheila and Buffy. He put them in charge for making 'Parent and Teachers Night' the best ever. That night they went to the Bronze, because Buffy thought that Angel might be there. He didn't show up, she was studying for French, Xander interupted the studying, and asked them to dance. Willow, Buffy, and Xander started to dance. In the shadows we see Spike stalking Buffy, and looking on. Then he told somebody, pretty loudly, hoping that Buffy would hear, that somebody is trying to bite this girl. Buffy quickly ran outside, and slayed the Vamp. Then she hears clapping, and turns around, and she sees Spike. They had a little conversation about the Night of St. Vigilious, and how he's going to kill Buffy. The next day at school, she told Giles, and everybody else about Spike. Later that night, Spike saw Sheila walking with two guys, and he fed on the two guys, and lured Sheila back to the lair, as a snack for Drucilla. Dru and Spike we're talking about the Slayer, and how the Annointed One doesn't trust Spike. So the Vamps, and Spike we're preparing for St. Vigilious. That night, was 'Parent, Teacher Night' so Buffy had to keep her Mom away from Snyder. Unfortunately, Synder found Joyce Summers and they went to talk about Buffy. Minutes later, her Mom comes out and tells Buffy to get in the car, and that she's in big trouble. Just when everyone was about to leave, Spike and his vamps attacked everyone, and held the whole school hostage. Buffy, her Mom, Snyder, and four other people hid in a classroom. Ms. Calendar, Giles, and Xander hid in the library, and Willow and Cordy hid in a broom closet. Giles told Xander to go get Angel, and he did, reluctantly though. So Buffy went up in the ceiling, and crawled to the library. Xander got Angel, and Angel had a plan to fool Spike, but Xander had no clue what the plan was. Angel put the plan into action, but it didn't quite work, Spike knew that Angel was lying to him. So, Xander and Angel decided to jett. Meanwhile, Buffy was slaying some Vamps, and along come Sheila. Buffy doesn't know that Sheila is now a vamp. She gave Sheila an axe, and told her to stay behind her. Sheila was going to kill Buffy, but then Buffy slayed a vamp, and Sheila ran away. Buffy then confronts Spike, and they started to fight. So, Buffy had to fight all of the vamps, save and protect everyone, not get her "secret" exposed, keep her Mom away from Snyder, and not break a nail. That's a tough, stressful job! Well, luckily she prevailed, and won. Right when Spike was going to kill Buffy, Joyce took an axe and hit Spike with it.
Joyce: "You get the hell away from my daughter!"
Spike: "Women!"
So, Spike and the other Vamps retreated and went back to their lair. The Annoying One (Collin), as Spike calls him, gave Spike a lecture. Spike picks up Collin, puts him into a cage, and exposes him to the sun. He then burst into ash, and died. So, all is well in Sunnydale, or is it?
Review:
This is one of my favorite episodes!!! It was done so well. The fighting scenes, the acting, the sarcasm, the action, the humor, and the introduction of the new villains, is what made the show, absolutely fantastic!!! Bottomline, Spike Rules!
