There are lots and lots and lots of positions that arms could go into. Depending on the position that the person is standing in, how they are holding their arm(s), depends on where lines should go, and how the arm is shaped.

I don't have the actual picture YET, but this could give an example of how you can hide parts of the arm, if you can't get it to look right.
